Testing Services

At Between Thoughts, psychometric assessments are conducted to gain a deeper, objective understanding of cognitive abilities, emotional functioning, personality patterns, and behavioral concerns. Assessments are used to clarify diagnoses, guide treatment planning, support academic or occupational needs, and provide meaningful insight for both individuals and families.

We offer comprehensive assessment services for both adults and children, using standardized, evidence-based tools administered and interpreted with clinical care and ethical sensitivity.

Intelligence assessments evaluate cognitive abilities such as reasoning, problem-solving, memory, attention, and processing speed. These assessments help understand intellectual strengths and challenges and are commonly used for academic planning, learning concerns, and diagnostic clarification.

Personality assessments explore enduring patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. These evaluations help provide insight into emotional functioning, interpersonal styles, coping mechanisms, and psychological concerns, and are often useful in therapeutic planning and self-understanding.

Projective tests are designed to explore unconscious processes, emotional themes, internal conflicts, and relational patterns. These assessments are used when a deeper, qualitative understanding of emotional functioning is required.

Neurocognitive assessments examine cognitive domains such as attention, memory, executive functioning, language, and visuospatial abilities. These assessments are helpful in understanding cognitive changes, developmental concerns, or difficulties related to attention, concentration, or brain-based functioning.

ADHD assessments evaluate attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive functioning across settings. These assessments are conducted for both children and adults and may include clinical interviews, standardized rating scales, and cognitive testing.

Learning disability assessments identify specific difficulties in academic skills such as reading, writing, and mathematics. These evaluations help understand learning profiles, support educational accommodations, and guide intervention planning for children and adolescents.
